Week One: Kickstarter Case Study in Real Time
On Being Vulnerable and Getting Over It Cause We Got Things to Do.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from a week of crowdfund campaigning on this platform it’s this:
it’s really not that serious.
This was a hard-fought reaction, because I didn’t want to “campaign” on this platform.
I honestly would’ve rather robbed a bank.
I felt it was putting myself out there in a way I hadn’t done yet - asking people for money to help bring a vision you have to life is vulnerable in a different kind of way - and I didn’t want it to distort or change things between us.
But in the grand scheme of the vision and plans I have for my life -
this is such a small thing to ask.
And what I am increasingly grateful for is YOU as a part of my community - if you haven’t heard my “analytical, cinephile audience.”
